Our classroom will use a clip chart to monitor behavior. A clip chart is a great tool that allows students to be rewarded for positive behavior, while discouraging negative behaviors.
Each student has a clothespin, or clip, with his or her name on it. Everyone will start on green at the beginning of each day, and clips can be moved up and down throughout the day based on behavior. The picture below goes into more detail about each level and describes the consequences each. I will help students color these in each day, so you know how their behavior was. Please keep these calendars in their red folders and send them to school every day. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Dear Parents, In order to run this website, I will post pictures of student's engaging in classroom activities. However, as parental guardians, you have the right to control where and how your student's picture is being posted. The pictures I post on this website are entirely meant to be used for parents' eyes only. These images will not be shared in any other way by me. However, this is a public website and I do not have control over the actions of any other third party. I would suggest taking a minute to review the host site's Term of Service. Once you have made your decision about photo release, please complete this form and return it to school in your child's red "Return to Teacher" folder. Sincerely, Ms. VanWyck |
